Double Nappy Policy

Baby Swim Packs
To prevent accidents in the pool it is our
policy that children must wear 2 swim
nappies until fully potty trained.
1st Swim Nappy - a disposable or
re-usable swim nappy
2nd Swim Nappy - a neoprene,
reusable swim nappy
designed specifically to prevent
accidents in the pool.
*PLEASE DO NOT CHANGE NAPPIES ON POOL SIDE.
Submersions
Submersions are only carried out when parent
AND child are ready, it is NOT the main
focus of our programme. For safety purposes
submersions are limited and practiced at
intervals during your lesson.
Immunisations
We recommend that you seek advice from your
doctor. The NHS state that you can start
swimming with your baby at any time.
Class Size
We have small class sizes which helps to keep the
atmosphere social but also allows for
individual attention where needed.
Lesson Duration
Lessons last for thirty minutes which
includes registration and
assistance with pool entry and exit.
Term Courses
3 terms run per year lasting approx 13
weeks. Term dates coincide with the school
term and break for half-term where
applicable.
Our Teachers
All teachers are qualified by the STA or ASA
to teach babies. They also undertake
rigorous in-house training and hold a
lifesaving qualification that includes first
aid and CPR skills. |
